My puppies are the cutest! Bubbles is pro at frisbee and Dandilion sometimes retrieves her squeaky purple ball. I hate that ball at 4 am when it's squeaking down the hallway, but I don't have the heart to take it away.
My mom just got a King Charles Cavalier puppy. It is very cute. However, our neighbors have two as well and they came over and were a little to pet-loverish for me. They had photo albums, one for each pup, and they had us look through the whole album saying things like, "Oh, they just grow up so fast . . . we should have taken more pictures." And fyi, this couple does not have any "real" kids.
This one time at band camp me n my dog were running around in the feilds with flowers and raccoons and we saw lots of pigs roaming around. It was so beautiful. My dog is so big and pretty and he has the best name ever! Chauncy is a German shepard and he almost bite off my brother's ear the other day but we're not gonna pt him to sleep necause he's so pretty and my brother was wrestling with him and probably deserved it. I love Chauncy.
My friend has this really cute Pekinese (spelling?) named Alice Hippo. The dog is actually a boy but she treats him like a girl -- he has lots of tutus and girly outfits, and she seriously dyed its' fur pink. I don't know if any of this is good for the dog...but Hippo still seems quite interested in girls so I guess that if a dog is gay it's not their owner's fault....
We're dog people who own a cat. Here's his story: Just before our cross-country move from Seattle to Iowa in 2000, we found four kittens abandoned in our front yard. One had died, leaving three who needed help. We warmed them up and tried to find the owner or the mother cat, to no avail. So my boys chose the black-n-white kitten, our neighbor took the other two. We named our kitten "Moses." He came with us on the 1,800 mile trek through 10 states to our new home in Iowa, along with my six-pound elderly Yorkie-Poo, Jeffie. Moses loved Jeffie and it was hard on him when Jeffie died in 2003. Actually, it was hard on all of us. But now Moses seems to realize he's king of the house. We suspect we should have named him Pharoah. :o) Actually, he's very sweet and surprisingly obedient--for a cat. Since we didn't know any better, we raised him like a dog. Poor thing. Life is very entertaining since we added Moses to our family.
